Global Positioning System
The TRACKER positioning system is a radio navigation system that provides reliable positioning services to civilian users on a continuous worldwide basis—freely available to all. For anyone with a TRACKER, the system will record location and the time of being in that location of holder. So it works like a personal tracker but this is just the off-line usage of TRACKER.
By this means you can control the areas that have been visited by your visitor and prevent overlapping and in the same time you can monitor the amount of activity of your staff and visitors.
As technology evolves and expands throughout the world, the surveying and mapping community is steadily redefining the tools required to increase productivity and obtain highly accurate data. A critical component of any successful rescue operation is time. Knowing the precise location of holder of TRACKER, just after facing disaster reduces the time -- and saves lives.
The TRACKER with combination of a GSM modem and two digital inputs serves as a facilitating technology in addressing these needs. Using the near pinpoint accuracy provide by the TRACKER with ground augmentations, highly accurate surveying and mapping results can be rapidly obtained, thereby significantly reducing the amount of equipment and labor hours that are normally required of other conventional surveying and mapping techniques.
BENEFITES
Deliver disaster relief to areas in a more timely and accurate manner, saving lives and restoring critical logs.
Provide position information for mapping of disaster region where little or no mapping information is available.
Enhance capability of announcing the event and monitoring data before, during and after event all day long.
Relatively small, portable, and affordable handsets can be used for multiple types of recreations activities.
Global System for Mobile
GM-10 modem is a wireless modem that works with a GSM wireless network. A wireless modem behaves like a dial-up modem. A GM-10 modem can be an external device or a PC Card / PCMCIA Card. Typically, an external GM-10 modem is connected to a computer through a serial cable. A GM-10 modem in the form of a PC Card / PCMCIA Card is designed for use with a laptop computer (optional). Like a GSM mobile phone, a GSM modem requires a SIM card from a wireless carrier in order to operate.
You can use a GM-10 modem just like a dial-up modem. In addition to the standard AT commands, GM-10 modems support an extended set of AT commands. These extended AT commands are defined in the GSM standards.
A GM-10 modem could also be a standard GSM mobile phone with the appropriate cable and software driver to connect to a serial port on your computer (optional)
